https://corona.help/ has greatly improved their stats display/charts.

What is particularly interesting is comparing countries using the linear scale. It puts the numbers in proportion. I compared China, France, Germany, Italy and UK. Hmm, yeah, make of it as you will...

Great post, yes it's incredible what you have to practically do to make a barrier to picking up virus if you are going out and about.

This morning I went to the petrol station to top off the tank in the car. Put gloves on and mask and went off to do the job

I had to touch the car steering wheel, the car keys, petrol pump etc. I had at that moment forgotten to bring the alcohol spray. I looked at the glove and there was a tear in the glove from handling the keys.

Got to be so careful. Keys contaminated, barrier between skin and surfaces broken, wallet and card contaminated. List could go on.

I suppose you have to do your best. Going to a pub is clearly a stupid idea with the virus threat. Surely a moments thought could conclude this?

These people will make an enforced lockdown with army and police on the streets inevitable.

Me and the family are quite happy isolating away, but I do like to go our for a run every few days to keep the beer belly at bay. If the coming lockdown includes exercise I won't be very happy. I do have a bike trainer I could use instead.

The situation still has not sunk in to peoples heads. More deaths are needed, obviously :/

Grrrr. Lost a long reply. I forgot to ctrl+a and ctrl+c.

Session expired? It could be my browser as I'm running brave and it blocks lots of cookies and stuff although I have allowed all for radmon.org.

Watch this video (if you want). Is very interesting. The video creator/narrator is a scientist. He is a chemist and works at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.. He is a very clever guy and knows his stuff. This is him: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Mason
It is 25 mins long but you need to watch the full thing to understand his points. But if we did nothing, every person in the world would be infected in 60 days!

This is unreal. When are people going to understand? When one of their close ones gets severely ill or dies? I'm expecting a load of personal videos and blogs and stuff soon to be saying 'don't do what I did'.... I said it at the start, and again now, It's not the virus I fear, its people!
