Numbers are in. Daily confirmed cases has a big rise, but deaths are down on yesterday. Funny numbers today. I expected deaths to be up in line with new cases but they don't report that. Best to keep an eye on them and see what pans out over a few day period. Its good to see testing is up again with just over 12k tested.
Total confirmed cases are at 47,806, with 5903 new cases, up 2168 (45% increase) on yesterday. Total deaths are 4,934, with 621 new deaths, down 87 (13% decrease) on yesterday. Total tested this (24h) period, 12334.

As of 9am on 5 April 2020, 195,524 people have been tested, of which 47,806 were confirmed positive.
As of 5pm on 4 April 2020, of those hospitalised in the UK who tested positive for coronavirus, 4,934 have died.
