Maybe it could be worth trying a commandline utility.
Most GUI tools work via GDI+, which gets processed by the CPU, rather then the GPU.
CLI tools don't need that rendering process.
It does, however, mean that you will loose all the fancy extra's. :/

Would it be worth setting up a "buy and sell" facility on the forum so members could sell on old equipment, providing them with funds to buy new kit such as the radbox-20? (or the forthcoming radbox-19 )
To impede scammers you could make it that members could only buy and sell after a minimum number of "useful" posts.
Just a thought.

Dan, now that my Radbox-20 has happily passed its first anniversary and endured everything the Spanish weather could throw at it, and still working flawlessly, is there any maintenance of seals, etc, etc, that you recommend so that it will see the next anniversary?

Great news!
No maintenance required, You can pop the lid and examine inside if you want, but since its all working OK I would just leave it.
