Hi All

Does anyone have experience of using one of these?

I would like to acquire one, but I'm not going to waste money if it's a pile of junk :)

So I'm guessing that no one has this model?

Looks like I'm going to have to rely on Amazon reviews :pinch:

Does anyone use ANY type of radon detector???

Not really, but after some quick googling this specific meter pops up very frequently so I assume it's OK.
Though it'd be a guess of €199.20... :P

Actually its 199.20, plus tax, plus shipping, so the real cost is 271.20 euros

So you can see why I asked for opinions before purchasing :)

I am curious as to what sort of detector is in it. Radon has to be detect by alpha?

From the spiel on their website, it seems to detect Radon using alpha spectroscopy.

It needs a day to give a ballpark figure in bequerels per cubic metre, and at least a month to give plus or minus 10% accuracy.
