That is fucking modern scientists for you. Not all mind, but there are so many fucking morons in this world labeled as a scientist because they got a degree years ago when pissed up and partying every night. Its not what you know, its who you know! Always has been.
I have been saying it for days. Shut the country down now. Make a decision on who can and can't travel, specifically. It is not going to contain the outbreak, but it will stop it's movements. And then work on each group that are infected, area by area, calmly, and we can really slow the spread down and our NHS won't get overwhelmed. Even bring in the military to go shopping for those that are locked in. The army could assist in transporting the infected to hospital. There are ways, and the layman sees them, but not the scientist. Why is that?
