Can you post the MD5 hash of the installer you have? I have run the installer on the website through virustotal.com and it's clean.

Mine uses 246Mb with the Map enabled (IE webpage/google maps bloat)
And 161Mb with it disabled.
And 62Mb with is disabled AND restarted.

Running in audio mode with 'Trigger plot on detect' unticked so the audio graph is updating all the time.

I have yet to get my geiger counter ticking, unfortunately.

High CPU and high network activity is certainly suspicious. Run the RadLog executable, in your Program Files folder through VirusTotal.com and please report the result

We need to confirm that the website download is safe, as a precaution I have removed it from the downloads.

Ok I have confirmed the website download is ORIGINAL and NOT COMPROMISED. The MD5 hashes from the download match the original executable generated on 23/9/2018. I will reinstate the download.

With audio counting method, very high CPU usage and resource usage in computer standby will lead to missed counts, due to lost audio frames. Run a full scan of your computer with https://www.trendmicro.com/en_gb/forHome/products/housecall.html

Once we have ruled out malware, we can look again at RadLog. In the meantime I will get my counter working so I can test it for lost counts.

No. I think that there are something of wrong. Without network enabled, audio start logging is absolutely normal. NO CPU and Memory abnormal usage. Radiation graph normal. Tested for several hours.

Check your file C:/Program Files (x86)/radmon.org/RadLog Professional/RadLog.exe at virustotal.com

Here's the result for mine, which is the radmon.org official download
https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/04f272284718b6b793bf9dc7533d3cbfe9fad878ffe7f04f52cd93c926b66313/detection

...it's clear of any detections.

I'm fixing my geiger counter now to start testing.
