I have found that people in the UK that I speak to about this tend to underestimate the threat posed by incidents such as the Wuhan virus. As of yet there is no impact to life you can see or feel. So what is wrong? The fears are overblown? The government can control it? We have the NHS to support us? But as this event moves on it is becoming more real.

Number of cases in UK double from 4 to 8. Demonstrating our good friend, the exponential increase.
It looks like at least the cases fall under the wing of people that we know might catch it, so hope remains of control.

The next significant event to look for is an unexpected case, indicating that work to contain the spread has failed.
