In a rapidly moving situation like this, there are no fully referenced and checked sources. People may have risked crossing the authorities to get this out. They take you on a journey, and you alone have to decide what is fake. But if you ask me for my personal opinion, all this indicates an extremely concerning situation, most of these are not fakes, the situation is not under control, the virus will spread into other countries and the window for control from governments is already passed. The severity of the virus is underestimated publicly for the only reason of not starting a panic. Idiotic leaders, too worried about their economies and what it would look like to everyone else if they took real action have no hope of protecting their citizens (see HK and actions of Carrie Lam).

Since the media is so slow at catching up with events, and the opinion writers are so widely off the mark and clouded by ideology and institutional inertia you cannot rely on them to give you an accurate or up to date picture, at least in a short timeframe.

Best you're near to the front line of information yourself. Yes there's fakes and yes there is misinformation. But you know what is happening in advance, which is when you may need to take action.

I hope it all blows over, I really do. But does it look like it?

All numbers coming out on this virus indicate exponential increase, only slightly attenuated by severe actions in China, underestimating of cases etc. To date it is not showing any signs of slowing down.
