Problem with software

Problem with software was created by s52sk
Hi just received new GQ GMC500 an installed software radmon latest version. COM port is opened but software could not received the data. There is note logging with com port statred but no data received. I can see my icon on the radlog map but there is "0" and shows " possible counter failure - decremented failure counter 3. I dont know what to do?
Other software shows no problem
Please any idea??

Hi, also i have the same problem with GMC 500, instead with the GMC 300 E no problem. But now with 300 the software give me configuration error. I have disinstalled software and then reinstalled but nothing to do. Help.

Ok let's see if we can fix this.
The baud rate for the GMC series counters should be 57600 baud. Select GQ counters in RadLog settings and ensure the baud rate is 57600.
If not working, close RadLog.
Install RealTerm serial terminal
Set it up as so:
Baud: 57600
Data bit: 8
Parity: None
Stop bit: 1
Control: None
For the serial port your counter is connect to.
Start the serial connection
Type
<GETVER>>
And you should see your counter respond with the model and version number.
Please get to this stage so we know comms with the counter is established and hence the problem must be with RadLog or its settings or both.

Hi. I am install real term program and set up like described above. I am finished until line" For the serial port your counter is connect to"
Just can not find from where to start the serial conection. Is that under "Capture" --> Start Overwrite?

Grr i am foun it under question mark on the right side. When press "start capture" i became answer " Port must be opened for capture" and nothing happened.
