Sorry about the alert guys! I was playing around with my system and everything started working at once, Just when I had a bit of pitchblende near the tube! Give me another hour or 3.

Looks like it's fixed.

Sorted the last problem, it wasn't actually the software, it was an intermittent in the usb power.

Yet more problems LOL for about 24 hrs my counts seem to have doubled. I have been off line a fair bit whilst I try and sort the issue, could be that there is simply a higher background, but another counter using the same type of tube and similar circuit shows nothing.

Already tried swapping the tube (I have two others of the same type and a couple more with similar voltage requirements. Then I checked the HT, using my 1G0hm 2kV meter its going from 375V at switch on to 475 after a couple of minutes, I switched off at that time. I'm going to take it offline for a few hours and do some probing around.
