radmon.org to-do list 25/9/2018

- Recover from hack and freshen up the code ... done
- Restore forum ... done
- Sort out RadLog V0.43 ... 99% done.
- Install OpenStreetMap server ... underway, it's numbercrunching
- Raw data downloads ... done!
- Migrate to OSM ... underway

Moving to OSM will remove any external dependencies for the website, so any surges in traffic will be handled properly, and it should make the map nice and fast to load too. Google is stepping up moving people to pay for maps, has anyone seen 'for development only' greyed out map?

Expand the data that can be sent? Definitions of data could easily be put into the user profile for voltage, temperature, whatever.
Annoyingness of the ads? .. Done, donating users get ads removed

- Check for write permissions in avatars folder, if anyone is struggling to upload avatars please let me know ... done
- Work out how to write into the joomla profile, there are clear library functions to read, but unclear ones to write?? ugh
- Write coordinate data from radmon to joomla profile if they are unset ... related to above
- Check audio output level for radio beacon modes in v0.43. Too high? ... it's ok!

- Import old data for period prior to hack

Yeah of course. There are quite a few Gb's of data to add back into the database too. Welcome back! Very glad people are starting to say hi on the forum again
