Greetings from Port Elgin Ontario Canada was created by jimid
I am a retired electrical and control engineer from a large nuclear power plant on the Great Lakes, Lake Huron. Port Elgin is also on Lake Huron about 10km north of the plant. I am curious about the background radiation where I live compared to others. I don't have an operational monitoring station yet but I have ordered a Radmon Plus with a SBM-20 tube from DIY GeigerCounter in the US.
