I bought a cheap GVM2 from China to use for some science experiments with my son. And then recently bought a GQ Electronics GMC-320 plus as it also does data logging. The GMC-320 plus was delivered yesterday and seems to be working fine (normal background around 0.12 uSv/hr, and I get 0.86 uSv/hr when I hold it against a sample of slag I collected from Kellys Bush Park (old tin smelter site). I'll now set the GMC-320 up to post readings to radmon and later I want to have readings from my counter automatically plotted on my website. So I'll probably be playing around with python scripting to get data from the GCM-320 and pushing it to my website. Apparently the GMC-320 plus uses a M4011 tube.
