Hello here!

I'm Yoan, currently playing with the japanese Radiation Watch counter. That's not a Geiger-Muller counter, but a PIN photodiode sensor that is able to detect rays (it has been certified ).

Location: Laussou, France 35.6461, 139.7038
Geiger Counter: Radiation Watch Pocket Geiger type 5
Detector Tube: X100-7 PIN photodiode
Other Information: Indoor detector.

The sensor is now packaged with a Raspberry Pi, with some custom software , so we have a sort of box with a web interface to get the readings and configure how the data is shared (see the attachments).

If you're curious you can see more on my blog: https://blog.ytotech.com/2015/12/06/radiation-watch-arduino/

I'm currently logging my readings to Safecast . It would be great to also share on radmon.org!

Yoan
