Hi everyone,
I've just joined radmon.org and I'd like to say hi to everyone. My name is Steve and I am from Mansfield in Nottinghamshire, UK.
I built my first geiger counter in August 1986, from an article in ' Practical Electronics ' magazine, and this used a Mullard ZP1310 GM tube. This has laid dormant in a cupboard until recently, when my interest in monitoring radiation levels were re-kindled by world events. Amazingly, it still works.
I recently acquired a kit for a Cajoe v1.1 GM counter from AliExpress, and having linked it up to an Arduino, I joined radmon.org so I could share my data on the map.

Hi Sailpiper
Welcome to radmon.org!
Great to have another station on the map.
I remember looking at geiger counter kits in the Maplin catalogue in the 90's and wanting to buy one
