I have a question. (again ) Take a look at my data for today, if you would, and tell me why the data varies in small amounts. See that some other sites data does the same.
If this has been discussed before, say on the old board, point me to it and I will check that out. But, some fresh input would be great.

Board does not like PNG files I guess. Any way, it took a JPG.

I just checked this in the settings and it should accept a png. Did it give an error? I have increased the allowed size for uploads in case that was the problem.
As for the variation, personally I'm not sure. It could just be random variation. Or it could be radon, then someone opening a door. Or it could be poor regulation of the HT tube voltatge - power supply variation ending up as tube voltage variation.
