I moved my computer and indoor detector from an inside wall of my room to an outside wall, and closer to a window as well. The background readings increased by 20%. I don't know which has the greater effect; closer to the exterior wall or closer to the window.
P.S. As you can see by the straight lines in the graph, I still have Radlog lockup issues, even with a direct USB connection and the HC05 option checked.

Could be bricks in the wall, there is an area in our house that reads higher than the rest. I never pinpointed the source, even with a sensitive detector.

The apartment building where I live is faced with stones from an old quarry and the cpm can double when over some stones.
