It would be nice if, when looking at "Stations" readings, the type of detector (GM tube) was listed. Some readings are low, some extremely high. I've been using a LND7313-3 (Aware Electronics RM-80) pancake tube for years now. Some stations use an LND712, others Russian SB tubes. Knowing would be useful. Searching might be easy for some users, but not me.

Totally agree your comments.

The kind of tube (and number if several) can explain the diferences on mesurements.

Best Regards,

I think it would also be a great help if it were possible to display the expected background radiation CPM or something similar. That way people with no experience of different detectors will be able to easily work out if the readings are normal or require further investigation.

I agree. In meteorology, when doing data quality control one of our QA/QC parameters is what is the value's departure from a long-term average or, say, a record high value.

Somehow, blundering about in the radlog program, I managed to put my address, and e-mail on the "Station" display line. Instead, putting the GM tube type there would be an improvement if others did the same. Unfortunately, I couldn't seem to change it last night. Also, I suspect that Radlog Pro messed up my FTDI drivers while making the attempt. Had to reinstall a few things today.
