Hi all
radmon.org will be powered down for a system image tomorrow afternoon. I can actually do this while the server is running, but I'd prefer to back up in a fully shut down state. So, it may be down for an hour or two. I will also be moving the system back onto the dedicated server, which has had a round of maintenance and cleaning of ram modules, slight oxidation of contacts caused some memory instability. It's passed a decent soak test, so it's time to get it back into service!

Ok I'm trying a semi-live migrate to the dedicated server. Anything posted, and some data for the last hour or two will be lost.

I have saved Bert490's post and one of mine that have occured in that time.

So, don't post in the forum until I post about Migration Complete!

Ok the semi-live attempt failed. Live snapshot resulted in a corrupt filesystem, a pretty bad one. Fsck attempted to fix and I think a important branch of the filesystem disappeared or at least some important files.

Approx hour and a half of downtime from imaging of properly shut down server.

I now need to physically move the server, so there will be another short outage.

Ok it's done. Back on the meaty server. I haven't allocated loads of resources yet, as it's going to have to do some numbercrunching again generating those map tiles. If you notice any slowdown please let me know.
