E-mail alerts within V0.42

Does anyone using RadLog V0.42 get e-mail sending to work?
I have a valid address typed in the email address field and if I press the "Test email" button I get the message "Sent test email" in the status line in the bottom of the Network page of the RadLog program.
Unfortunately no mails turns up in my mailbox.

Anyone who gets this to work?
Anyone who knows how the flow for this feature looks like? Does it all handles by the radmon-server or is my PC involved in the mailsending?

Haven't tried V .42 yet after seeing some bugs with it I thought I read, is working in V .41
