Error in shared log FTP upload: Permission denied was created by Simomax
I'm getting the above error and my shared data is not being shared. The check box under Settings --> Share logged data with other users is checked and unchecking and rechecking doesn't fix it.
Excerpt from my message log:
Do I need a special login or something for sharing data?
Thanks
ETA: I'm running version 0.41

Thanks for the report, been wondering why this is. I'll look into it. In the meantime, clear all your shared data using the button under the Tools tab.

Hi Dan, Thanks for looking into this.
I have done what you asked and hit the 'Clear shared data' button. When I do it seems to go through the motions for a second or so then throws a pop-up error stating 'Error removing user from userlist: Permission denied'.
Here are the log entries:
Thanks

Ok, this might be why I haven't seen many new stations in the shared data list - its not working properly! It must be a problem with the server.

I can lend you a hammer if you want? I have many types, big, little, rubber, wood, lump, sledge, toffee, leather, copper, claw, and a good old 2lb ball pein. One might fix it? no?

This post is a little old but was this resolved? We have a member here in Massachusetts, 3 of us now, that is having a sharing issue. Was there more to the info needed to be able to share data?
