And here you have the chance to get your hands on your very own piece of Plutonium 94!
(Doh! I put the wrong ebay number - now all correct!)

Hmm, I can't post the ebay link. Remove the spaces from the link below:

Now at £62.00, 42 bids and 6 days left!

I'm tempted to bid £100, but I think I'd just be bumping the bids up. I really don't think I'd get it for that. I reckon it's gonna go for about £300-£350. Or maybe there is some crazy collector out there willing to pay gazillions? Apparently this seller has 4 of these so it will be interesting what they go for.

Well, that didn't last long. It looks like ebay has removed all of that seller's listings. I managed to buy some Thorium dioxide (in some unknown dodgy solution  ) before ebay caught on. Shame as I was really interested in seeing what it went for.

Can you imagine the chaos that could be caused by leaving that somewhere silly?
Oh no! I've lost my Plutonium!

I found some more! Ebay item 203736884271

The original item (pictured above) is a part of an old Russian smoke detector. The seller reckoned they were rare as f... But I have found a new source of them in Kyiv, Ukraine for only £188 each! 10 of them in fact.    Now if only I had money to burn...
