Holy, yes! ^_^
Re-implemented ftp, this time it runs in a secondary thread.
Just like the serial communications.
And the handlers for the serial data.
Maybe I will even put the coloring in a separated thread but I'd need to make some extra code to make a safe cross-threading method.
Didn't need that yet due to me only changing integers, booleans, strings, lists etcetra.
For me it resulted in a way more stable application.
Big thanks to Barnacules for the good explanation on threading. ^_^
Software available for download now. http://thibmoprograms.com/?id=downloads

Thinking about re-writing the whole program in Delphi.
Using FireMonkey it should work on Windows, iOS, OSX and Android.
Though I could also look into just OSX, Linux and Windows.

Let me know your opinions please. :)

A bit off-topic: Did you take a look at C# and VisualStudio? I learned programming with Delphi but am now using VisualStudio for client applications.

Best Regards,
Matthieu

EDIT: I guess this one went wrong. Read before writing ;)
