That block of Sr90 was smokin, steaming hot. And those burns ouch, they must have tried carrying the sources in their backpacks?!!

The report mentions that two of them used them for warmth, keeping them behind their backs! Someone on Reddit speculated that they may have been sent in to 'recover' the 2 cylinders (carrying them in backpacks) only to abandon them after becoming sick.
