Hi. I'm Paweł, from Świebodzin.

I'm using a Radiatex MRD-2 geiger counter with a STS-5 tube, I don't have any other device at the moment, but maybe I'll have another counter with an outdoor detector. But we'll see.

Welcome, Pawel
Your detector is showing good data values. When you are finished testing, don't forget to take it out of experiment mode so that alarms will become active.

Yes, I saw that. I need to make a power supply for the detector, it was running on a battery the whole time. Also I need to find a better place to locate it in my house, so it won't be interrupted with some of my radiation experiments. Anyway, good it's sending the right data.

Edit:

I don't want to make a new topic for this. I decided to use my old netbook (hp compaq mini 110c) for a station. I need to replace the fan, because it's broken, format the disc and install RadLog. Then I need to find an 9V power adapter for the Radiatex and put it all together in some "stable" place in my house and let it run and send data. I hope the software will work on that machine.
