The Radioactive@home station near Olympia Washington must have shown a reading of 121 on the Radmon map for a minute or 2 in the past 24 hours. It's graph shows a spike about 24 hours ago (the graph values are 4 minute averages spanning some 2.8 days). Since it was short lived and not replicated by nearby detectors, it was likely a user test/exposure or a malfunction. There is no nearby spike on Netc, uRadMonitor, Safecast or the EPA Radnet sites (some of these have stations in Olympia). Unfortunately, the Radioactive@home website user forum is mostly quiet these days, so we may not hear from the site owner what may have happened.
