Inactive stations

At this time there is approx. 120 inactive stations.
Could it be a good idea of contacting the people behind these inactive stations with a mail/questionary of the reason why they are inactive and point out the value of getting them on-line again?
I guess that there are more than me that not always trust the newspapers and authorities way of spreading information about radiation and then a wide net of stations can ease my/our pain a little.

Some of these inactive stations maybe should be on a list as just Forum members?
