Filling out the map with new stations was created by mnrad
Hi All,
This might be wishful thinking and tough to do, but...
Beyond waiting for spontaneous registrants around the globe, does anyone have any thoughts on filling out the map with Radmon stations where we have large gaps? All of Africa, much of Russia and most of Asia, South America.
-Contacting friends in these locations
-Donating of internet capable radiation detectors to emergency management organizations where there are gaps
-Working with Universities (nuclear physics, engineering, health physics, etc.)
-Working with other radiation reporting groups, amateur or official to link their data
Sites like https://www.epa.gov/radnet, https://www.ctbto.org/ do not post anything like a real time map or in the case of ctbto any of their worldwide measurements
Just a few thoughts...
