Thanks Chris. I have tried that procedure, and yes, I can read most of what you list, only I never seem to get the file attached message. Obviously, some of my attachments have worked in the past, but these ones were a pain in the proverbial. Sometimes, it's the web page display that doesn't get interpreted, and sometimes, it's the screen reader not picking up or reading highlights. As Bert mentioned, some types of buttons or check boxes have lables that JAWS doesn't see
