CPM 500.000 in Norway ??? was created by Norway noob
Hi everyone.
Im have no idea what you do in here, or how it works. I do not have any equipment or knowledge.
but i wanted to check my local city for radiation levels and i got a chock
http://www.radmon.org/radmon.php?function=showuserpage&user=lp
Kristiansand in Norway have all day today had CPM higher than 4000 and when i look a back in time i can see that 2 weeks ago the CPM was over 500.000
And on sept.3 over 10 million. I little scary that it was on THIS day, because if you look at the radmon.org news you will see that sept 3 was the day north korea tested its hydrogen bomb.
Can someone please confirm this is false data ????
i mean before i seal the door in my bunker for the next 2 years.
Thank you in advance

I think it's a failing detector. For the past 2 months or so, this unit has been jumping between normal readings and very high ones. I sent a PM to user 'LP' some days ago, hoping that would trigger an email notification from his radmon account (I'm not sure if anyone else has done this also). The high readings are not verified by nearby sensors on Radmon, nor on other sites such as Europe's
jrc site
or on
uradmonitor
.

It would be nice if we could filter the alerts, Its clear that detector has an issue, and all the false alerts make the alerts page useless.

I think the alerts page needs a moderator... It is useless otherwise.
