There are even more than that out there, it is not a unique idea. Was radiationnetwork the first, a long time ago? Not sure. The radmon.org project grew from a simple web radiation monitoring page with a graph. Features were added until it became multiuser and interest grew. There was a 'hole' where there was nothing low cost for the geiger counter kitbuilder, so radmon.org filled it.
Collaboration would require some satisfactory give and take of data. radmon.org is meant to be open, there is an unpublished 'api'. As always its when time and priorities allow writing documentation etc. Anyone who wants to know more can discuss it with me on here.
How would you arrange the collaboration? It's a little more difficult than you might anticipate? Try to put yourself in my shoes!
It would be easy to nab data from all the stations on a particular site and stick it on your own map. But without permission to harvest the data it would not work for long.
I am happy to work with other sites that are open and (properly) free to use, providing of couse that the benefit is mutual.

Agreed, one thing comes to mind is the .kml files for google earth maps, I think that's what they are called. I have several of them kml layers on my google earth now, but that would be cool if the writers had them kml files to add there instead of trying to tie them all together. Just a thought, don't know how much that would involve making a kml file thou..

We have created PHP script to realtime export readings data from our project and we are open for cooperation and sharing data (available on our forum, feel free to use it).
Have you got any API to export data from your server? Is possible to share data between us?
