I have closed registrations due to spammers (yawn)

Sorry about the idiots. I know its done by bots. Would it be possible to introduce some check questions for would be members rather than an automatic system in the same way that some groups on Facebook use? I know it introduces an extra level of administration. Or maybe a captcha of some kind.

There was a captcha, maybe its broken. Probably I can up the captcha level or change to a different one or something. I'll look into it.
